Tammy Choleva

Secretary/Co-Treasurer and Director

I am first and foremost a daughter of the King. I submitted my life to our Lord Jesus upon a powerful encounter with Him one early morning in September of 1991, and I have never turned back since that moment in time. 

I have been married to my college sweetheart, John Choleva, since 1985. We are the parents of six adult children -- five sons and one daughter. We are also the grandparents of five grandchildren (plus another one on the way!).

I homeschooled our six children for 23 years, then taught for six years at The Cornerstone Christian School. At CCS, I taught middle school math for one year (2013-2014) and then high school English for five years (as well as the electives of public speaking, civics, vocational home economics, and yearbook).

I retired from teaching in June of 2019, when the Lord called me to focus my time and energy on helping my dad take care of my ailing mom. After the passing of my mom in 2021, I re-engaged in the Lord's kingdom work at CCS by becoming their Director of Fundraising and Event Management until June of 2025, when I retired to focus more time on helping to care for my grandchildren.

Through the years, my love for CCS continued to grow. I think of her as a small school with a big heart.
